The Aarogya Setu app launched by the Government of India on 2 April 2020 works towards the tracing of the COVID-19 positive victims. If you have this application in your mobile phone, it will keep you informed about the number COVID-19 cases nearby you. It also tells you if you have been in contact with such person. It tells about the precautions to be taken to avoid the spread of disease. It also consists of various helplines as per given by states of India.

- Through GPS and bluetooth it determines if a person is near or has been near in contact with a COVIS-19 infected person.
Follow these steps to use the aap
- After you've run run the aap, allow it to access your device's location, as prompted
- You'll get an OTP, enter it and fill in the details, as asked
- Give the appropriate answer to the questions related to your foreign travel history
- with ICMR database, it will match your travel history with that of those who've tested positive
- the aap then starts an assessment test
